Summertime Shabby

Is there ever a better time for shabby style? I don't think so! This fresh bright rose print is an original. A vintage print that inspires the current trend. And I don't care what anybody says about trends. Look around. The style is still happening.

I don't usually surround myself with faded blue, but it seems essential this time of year. Especially in the country. I added the irresistible ubiquitous blue jars, and it all spells HAPPY. In big letters.

Happy Shabby Summer Weekend!

  4. What a lovely vignette, I love bleu furniture, a few years back I stained a huge china hutch blue, everyone loved it, I have also the same blue jars, I use them with my coffee supplies, cream sugar, etc. Love the pail underneath the table.
    Have a lovely weekend!

  6. I adore everything from the rose print to the Ball jars. I have started replacing some of my accessories with cream and white items. I can't completely start over (wouldn't that be nice?) but little changes are making a difference. Love the look. I just got a fabulous creamy white tureen at GW for $2.00. Couldn't believe it. Totally made my day!

  11. Jacqueline you have captured summer loveliness to a t with all of my favorites- rose prints, linens, vintage fabrics, chippy wood, old jars.

I was supposed to be up your way in Alb this weekend - my son ended up calling and letting us know he was coming up our way so had to cancel my plans. When I called my sis to let her know I found out they were actually giving me a surprise birthday party - oh dear-

  15. Ohhh, Jacqueline, Happy Pink Saturday!
How shabbily gorgeous is this share today. I love the cream pitcher with the blue Ball jars. So delightful, and what a gorgeous vignette combined with the little stand, and the floral fabrics. I love it.

That little pail sure stole my heart. I love metal items to display with. I collect old gas and oil cans. They are my favorite to play with. You outdid yourself on this share. It is SO beautiful.

Have a gorgeous Pink Saturday and a glorious weekend. Country hugs and much love, Sherry
